As I am researched about the Virtual Reality in the future, I really think that new types of "new media" will develop from the Virtual Reality. The some of Virtual Reality devices or apps are currently out in the market and using it but many people are not using it much due to it's not completely developed that it still has some bugs and errors.
Since 4D Cinema or film has been out in few theater in U.S., I thought Virtual Reality can be used with 4D technology in the theater. Due to this pandemic, the new device that allow virtual see the film at your home with the 4D technology. In other hand, it would be expensive to purchase the device and it might have some glitches and errors as using it now but I could see this device can be out in the market in the future.
Hey I know virtual reality or augmented reality technology isn't the greatest at this point of time. This is the reason I don't use any application which uses that technology yet. It just eats up the processing power without providing anything meaningful to me so, I just avoid it. But hopefully, in the future we will have better applications that use this technology.
