Blog v Wiki

Blog is like a written paper that is shared to the public or private on website. It can be personal blog but also giving reviews and more on anything. It's more likely shared communication and conveying information on the website. In my opinion, Blog is more likely easier to start that anyone can do it. Although, some blogs are facing new challenges as it is easier to create or start. For example, in the Vardanyan's article, some blogs are lack of quality of writing and topics. It's mostly personal experience view blog but also not enough of feedbacks and too dull. However, on Wiki, it also can be shared to the public or private on website but has different limitation than blog. It seems to be more professional written blog but also it is facts with proven resources. Yes, Blog and Wiki has similar concept but Wiki gives information with online resources that can back up the information is right. Moreover, it is working together website to manage the information that is posted to edit it like collaboration hypertext. Overall, as mention in the article of Mitchell, both are great tool for the web technology that can make new era of anything.

In today's networked world, I cannot mention about social media because it is the trend and a tool that most people are using in networked world. Some people cannot live or work without the convergence of the networking world because it giving what really they want when it's needed. For example, so many of apps are created that making communication each other. That's why blog and wiki became great tools right now. Like we learned about the difference between Web 1.0 and Web 2.0. Blog and Wiki are Web 2.0 that is advantages of network convergence.

Blog is still limited but it could used for collaboration. As the blog are sharing and can give feedbacks, people can just communicate by comments. Also, as getting comments, author can follow up those feedbacks and contributes better on next blog.

I think Wiki are already well-made format that has many different categories. It is not easy to come up with new use for a wiki. However, it's always all written text. If a new technology is developed that enables to watch the wiki in VR that might easier to understand but also edit information live together.
