I love to travel around the world to new experience, interact new lifestyle and more. From the COVID, for the traveler, there is no chance to travel anywhere due to difficult of flights even more we couldn't even have dinner outside due to all restaurants were temporary closed in period of time. So, as just staying home, I was just searching and planning places to go when this COVID goes away but I founded interesting website that you can actually see live streaming views around the world. This website provides live streaming webcam (certain spots) views around the world to viewers. I thought this was great website to previews of places before you start planning a trip.

Wow, I just checked out EarthCam and it seems pretty cool. Definitely a great way to see a place before visiting, and in the current situation, instead of visiting. I'm curious about how this concept works, are people the ones blogging it and then posting it online for the rest of the world to see? What are the motives? For example, I just watched a video the ocean on EarthCam. Before I went on the site, I imagined it as a live version of Google Maps. but after going on, it seemed more like Snapchat except the snaps and videos you take don't disappear after its been viewed. Which would you compare it to?
ReplyDeleteI think EarthCam doesn't provide all live sites but some are just snap picture of certain time of that place but it seems like mostly big cities are live stream video.
